Sometimes it can be the BIOS is not initialising something correctly. This came from windows, and is this what you’re looking for? The output from Ubuntu would be more telling. This is a new install of 2. It doesn’t really matter because the card doesn’t appear at all in pciconf. Intel states that it uses the same driver, but I cannot get PFsense to detect it.

inte, Indeed, it should work fine. Intel Gigabit lan on Woody. So the reason the card isn’t appearing is nothing to do with the driver but that it isn’t showing up on the PCI bus at all. Turns out it was a hardware issue, take a look at pin 2 in the attached image. I’m using several here right now. For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. I’ll try recompiling the drivers tomorrow with interrupts disabled. Refer to Datasheet for formal definitions of product properties and features.
